Discovery Camp at The Franklin Institute

Spark your child's curiosity and help them develop a lifelong love of science at The Franklin Institute's Discovery Camp!

Choose from 12 weeks of summer camp, each with an exciting and unique theme ranging from natural disasters and the mysteries of space to preparing yourself to become a superhero. Designed for children in grades preK-9, each camp day includes interactive science activities, museum exploration, live science shows, a snack, break for lunch, and time for outdoor play. Campers may also have the opportunity to hear from guest speakers, take field trips, and see planetarium, IMAX® and 3D films. Discovery Camp not only inspires your child's interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), it encourages friendships and establishes memories for years to come.

From spring break, winter break, and summer camp to days when school is out, science is always in session at The Franklin Institute.
