Camp Invention

Physics, Engineering, Creative problem-solving

Take things apart, create inventions, experiment with the science of superheroes, embark on an adventure to find hidden treasure, and build the fastest invention to cross the finish line. From the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation.

Inspire a passion for science in your child! New activities every year, over 40 locations and three different kinds of camps in Pennsylvania and Delaware! This nationally-acclaimed program is presented in your area by qualified local teachers.

Kids participate in each of these activities every day:

I Can Invent - Use real tools to take apart old appliances and see how they work, then create a model of your own invention. Older campers participate in a Rube Goldberg team challenge.
Finders Keepers – Follow the footsteps of ancient explorers to discover their treasure
Comic Book Science – Practice the scientific tricks of the trade that comic book superheroes use to crush the bad guys!
Land Sled X-Treme – Put together the fastest invention to carry a person across the finish line!
Recess Remix - Creative outdoor games

Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national, non-profit science enrichment program from the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation in partnership with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
